Introducing Dynamic Market Alert's RSS FeedThe Dynamic Market Alert is now available as an RSS feed. What does this mean? It means you can get your Dynamic Market Alert — guaranteed … the minute it's published … every day — without worrying about whether your e-mail provider lets it through to you, and without waiting for it to wind its way through e-mail. Yes, "spam" e-mail is a big problem—but most of the "solutions" to this problem are, to quote the old saw, worse than the disease. Of course we applaud efforts to protect you from spam, but the blocking, filtering, self-proclaimed blacklists… every one of them also blocks delivery of newsletters you want… newsletters you signed up for… like Dynamic Market Alert… merely because it fits somebody's idea of what spam looks like. At the Dynamic Market Alert, we have no intention of telling your e-mail provider how to run their business, but if you're not getting your Dynamic Market Alert, that's our business—and our concern. We've found a way to get your Dynamic Market Alert to you—bypassing e-mail altogether, using a relatively new technology called an RSS feed. If you don't know what we're talking about, please read this: What is RSS? If you're familiar with Newsfeeds, but don't have a Newsreader yet, click here to see the most complete list of them we've so far found. If you already know what RSS feeds are and how they work, then you can subscribe to the Dynamic Market Alert's RSS Feed here: http://blogs.dynamicmarketalert.com/index.rdf This is a full-content feed, meaning you get the whole Dynamic Market Alert.

What is RSS?So what is an RSS feed? Well, if e-mail is akin to us sending you a magazine every day, RSS is more like radio. We now "broadcast" the Dynamic Market Alert on our "Newsfeed Channel", and you—if you choose—can tune in to the program. Of course, it's not quite that simple. For instance, you need a receiver, which in this case is a small program called a Newsreader. ( Click here to see the most complete list of them we've so far found.) You install the NewsReader on your computer, tell it where to look for our signal (at either of the web addresses we gave you above), and it uses your existing Internet connection to get your Dynamic Market Alert for you. We're not going to go into the technical details. (Do we ever?) What's important is that the Newsfeed doesn't go through the e-mail system, so no middlemen (filters, blacklists...) can intercept it. You get it as soon as it's published. As a bonus, it's impossible for anyone to send you spam over a Newsfeed. Only what we broadcast on our channel will come to you. In other words, you only get what we send—and you always know where it came from. You don't have to give us your e-mail address to receive the Newsfeed, so not only do you not have to worry that we might sell your address (which we would never do), but if you had any lingering worry about hackers stealing our e-mailing list and using it to spam you, you can put them to rest.
